The Excavator Tractor is ideal for digging deep holes to reach objects that are located very low. It can also dig for objects that are located very high. The shovel has 180 degrees of freedom, and can move from straight vertical downwards, to straight vertical upwards. The Excavator Tractor can also be flipped left or right, to pick up objects on either side of it.

The Loader Tractor is ideal for digging tunnels to reach objects via its front mounted shovel. The shovel has 180 degrees of freedom, and can move from straight vertical downwards, to straight vertical upwards. However, the shovel cannot reach as high as the Excavator Tractor shovel. The Loader Tractor can be flipped left or right, to pick up objects on either side of it.

In mountainous terrain, lots of debris forms and gets in the way of the excavation site. The Dump Truck allows you to conveniently transport a pile of debris away from the site, rather than transporting debris one piece at a time using a tractor shovel. The Dump Truck can be flipped left or right, to receive objects on one side, then dump them on the other side.

Once you dig up some gold, you need to bring it to the washplant for processing!

If you ever dig too much or get stuck, you can always drag some boulders into the area to help you out! Each level supplies you with a few boulders. If you need more, you can always buy some large wooden crates instead. Wooden crates do a good job of filling in large gaps in the ground.
